Horshoe Bay

Horseshoe Bay is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. It is known as one of the most beautiful in the world and it did not disappoint. Even Travis who is not a water/beach person said it was amazing. First thing we did is set up our spot and climb up that rock on the right.
The sand was so soft it felt like baby powder. When it gets on you you can't wipe it off, just like powder, the only way to get it all the way off is with the water. Oh and the sand wasn't hot and it had little pink bits all through it. Bermuda is famous for it's pink sand.
What happens is when the Peri fish are eating the stuff off the coral sometimes they get a piece and the pink pieces of sand are the coral reef coming out the fishes other end. Our tour guide on the sail boat said that one Peri fish and poop up to one ton of sand a year. Surprisingly it's not gross at all.

This was called the kids pool. It was a perfect place where the waves didn't come in secluded just enough by the natural placements of the big rocks.
Pictures from the top of the rock. Simply breathtaking.

After climbing back down we body surfed the waves for about an hour. We had so much fun together, sand in every crevis of our bodies. I had to clean my ears out 3 times that night because so much sand got in them but worth every second. Our only regret is we wished we could have stayed longer.

This house over looks Horseshoe Bay, I can't imagine waking up to that view everyday. This was our favorite part of the trip.
