Oxford's Princesses

In our ward we have an over load of boys. I'm in the primary and am not exaggerating when I say it's not an uncommon sharing time when there are absolutely no girls present. So it's funny that starting about a year and a half ago our girl spree started ending with Harper. We now have 5 little girls within 18 months of each other. Our Young Women's program is going to be great in 12 years if we all stay here. They are all so cute.

Sunday with Harper

Every Sunday I'm in awe at how cute she looks in her dress. I can't help but take a picture. I can't get over the girl cloths. After 3 boys I'm loving all the dresses, tights, pink, purple, and head bows.

Beautiful Harper

Just loving our new baby girl.

Hayden's Baptism

Hayden's baptism was so nice. I can't believe he is eight already. I was emotional through the whole thing. All of the boys are getting so big. Hayden did so good. He picked his primary teacher Sister Andreadakis to give his baptism talk and me to give his Holy Ghost talk.

From left to right, back to front-Coy, Dallin, Hayden, Alanna, Embree, Trew, and Grady. My kids and Megan's kids although live almost 3 hours apart, love each other and are great friends.

I was nervous Hayden would be disappointed because he didn't have his traditional birthday party but he wasn't. He had such a great special day. Travis was beaming with pride and I broke down during my talk. We are so proud of Hayden and his desire to be baptised. He is such a good boy and we love him sooo much.

Harper's Blessing

Harper looked so beautiful in her blessing dress. I have had this dress since I was pregnant with Hayden just waiting for a daughter to wear it.

My mom made it and it will be a family heirloom that we will cherish forever.

Her blessing went well too. I am so grateful for Travis and the Priesthood and this Gospel in my life. I am so thankful for the Lord and the family he has blessed me with.

I truly couldn't ask for a more full filling life, with 4 beautiful healthy children, and a husband who loves me. Thank you to all our friends and family for coming and sharing this beautiful day with us.

1 Month Old Harper

December 9th Harper was officially 1 month. It's already flying by so fast. She gave us her first smile at 3 weeks. And no it wasn't gas because she did it more that once in response to us.

She is so strong, holds her neck up and will stand for a little bit. She is my best sleeper yet at night. She is still up but when she eats she usually goes right back down to sleep. She is so sweet. It is so much fun having a girl. I'm loving every minute of it. I call her Miss Mouse because she is the noisiest, squeakiest baby I have ever seen. It's so cute to listen to her stretch or start to wake up. She does not sleep all day like a normal new born. She is up a lot and if I'm luck will take a power nap for 3-4 hours and then be up again for the rest of the day. It's crazy and wonderful and we love her so so much.

Gradys Gymnastics

Grady loves his gymnastics once he starts. Unfortunately it's a 40 minute drive so he fall asleep on the way there every week.

Once I snuggle, love, threaten to leave and do some grocery shopping he joins the class.

Travis and I think it's so good for him, he is learning how to control his body more. The older boys do gymnastics too.

Next time I get a chance I'll take pictures of them. They love it even more.

Bath Time

Harper really likes bath time. It calms and soothes her.

When I rinse her off I pour the water right over her head and she doesn't care at all.

It's a good thing because she is a champion spitter and needs baths often because of it.

Breakfast with Santa

The fifth grade held a fund raiser. You got to get your pictures taken with Santa, eat, and buy some ornaments you kids made.

We entered our boys gingerbread houses in a contest and won 3rd, we also entered a raffle for a guitar and won. So after the holidays as if we don't have enough to do we are going to start trying to figure out how to play it. And I couldn't be more pleased with my Santa picture. For once they all looked and smiled a nice smile.

Fully Dressed Chase

Came out of the shower to find this, 3 giggling boys and a very disgruntled Chase. I had to laugh. I said, "Ok let me get the camera, then get him out of that because he doesn't like it."

Grady Loves Harper

Grady loves holding Harper. He call her his baby. Sooo sweet.

Gingerbread Houses

Our finished product. This year we did our houses the day after Thanksgiving, we wanted to make sure Brooke and Brian got to do with us too.

Grady had more fun with his this year decorating instead of just making piles.

Brooke and Brian

Coy's master piece.

Hayden got more creative this year.Brian said he liked this so much he wants to start doing it with his girls at home.

Daddy with his little sweet heart.

We have so much fun with this every year and kids get so excited for it.

I hope this is something we can keep going forever.

Candle Pin Bowling

Travis's brother Brian and his girlfriend Brooke came over for Thanksgiving weekend. It was so fun to have them here and nice to have the extra help with Thanksgiving dinner.

One of the New England things we wanted to show them was candle pin bowling. Apparently they don't have that out west.

It's much harder. The pins are harder to knock down, the balls are smaller, you get three balls instead of two, and the machine doesn't clean up the pins in between the balls.

We had lots of fun, but lets just say no one is joining a league anytime soon.

I especially like this kind of bowling with the kids because the balls are easier for them to handle. We sure miss our family in Utah, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. We love it here.
