The kids have wanted bird houses for a long time, but I just didn't want to buy one. Papa being the excellent Grandpa he is made them each one last year.
Well this year we finally got around to painting them. He had a bunch of old paints left over from projects here and there.
They had so much fun being able to paint their very own bird houses.
We now have three very colorful bird houses in the woods in the front of our house and every time I look at them I think of my boys and my dad. Thanks Dad, it's a memory I'll cherish forever.
